Things I Love

BOOKS:
Here is a running list of books I recommend and brief descriptions.
Enjoy!
 FICTION:

The Kingdom Series (6 books) ~ Chuck Black
This series is basically the events of the Bible in Medieval form. Very captivating and quite well written. No magic or mysticism at all (in any of Chuck Black's books). His books inspire you to live your life wholeheartedly for the Lord. "The King Reigns, and His Son!"

The Knights of Arrethtrae Series (6 books) ~ Chuck Black
This series is set in the same kingdom as the above series, but the 6 books within this series each deal with a different stronghold we as Believers need to overcome. I loved the one on Doubt  and the following one on Escapism (which is a VERY big stronghold of many today)

Wars of The Reaml Series (to be a 3 book series) ~ Chuck Black
This is an amazing book on Spiritual Warfare based in the 21st century. Amazing and captivating! Mr. Black is an amazing writer! He easily became one of my favorite fiction writers.

Viking Quest (5 books) ~ Lois Walfrid Johnson
(This link is only for the 1st book - but is you scroll down you will be able to see & click on the rest)
This is probably my favorite fictional book series. A main topic in the books is learning to forgive.

EDUCATIONAL/INSPIRATIONAL:

A great book about keeping pure before marriage & what to do during that time.

His Chosen Bride ~ Jennifer Lamp Neef
(This book is a bit hard to find)
A wonderful book that expounds on Proverbs 31. This book is one of my favorites!

A good book on purity. Heather is very straight forward with you and she really keeps you interested!
I would recommend for girls 17 and up as she discusses some topics that would not be appropriate for younger girls.

A great book on sibling love & harmony. Very convicting!
For siblings of all ages!

I really like this book! It is about witnessing, and it really challenges you!

It's (not that) Complicated ~ Anna Sofia & Elizabeth Botkin
I love this book! It shows how to be 'sisters in all purity' to our brothers in the Lord. I highly recommend this book!
This book is one of my favorites!

Passion & Purity ~ Elisabeth Elliot
A great book that teaches you how to bring your love life under God's control. She also tells her and Jim Elliot's love story.

Quest for Love ~ Elisabeth Elliot
The companion guide for 'Passion and Purity'.

The Mark of a Man ~ Elisabeth Elliot
Written to her nephew, she uses God's Word to show what the mark of a man is.

The title really explains it all! Good book.

Raising Maidens of Virtue ~ Stacy McDonald
Talks on different virtues young ladies should cultivate.

Joyfully at Home ~ Jasmine Baucham
Jasmine writes on how to be a joyful stay-at-home daughter.
Inspiring!

How to Be a Lady ~ Harvey Newcomb
Again, the title say it all! It is a little hard to read at times, but it does offer some great points.

A great little booklet that offers much wisdom about how to handle social media. Mirren wrote this very well. Anyone handling social media should read this!

Will Our Generation Speak? ~ Grace Mally
This is a great witnessing book! Grace is SO inspiring! I love this book! To anyone interesting in witnessing, or witnessing already I say, "Read this book!"
